La Riserva Naturale della Foce dell'Isonzo è stata istituita nel 1996.
Oggi il suo maggior punto di interesse è l'Isola della Cona, comprendente alcune infrastrutture per la fruizione turistica quali il Centro Visite,la foresteria, il bar e alcuni punti di osservazione della fauna locale, arricchiti dalla presenza di capanni che si possono dedicare alla fotografia di quest'ultima. Include inoltre due percorsi principali, percorribili a piedi, che attraversano la zona della Riserva Naturale e che permettono di arrivare alla foce dell'Isonzo.
La cache si trova sulla lingua di terra all'interno del canale della Quarantìa dove nel 1935 fu realizzata una diga utilizzata come scolmatore delle acque dell'Isonzo.
Siete all'interno di una riserva naturale. Rispettate l'ambiente ed il silenzio. Non gettare rifiuti al di fuori degli appositi bidoni.
The Mouth of the Isonzo Nature Reserve was established in 1996.
Today its main point of interest is the Cona Island, it includes some infrastructures for tourist use such as the Visitor Center, the guesthouse, the bar and some observation points of the local fauna, enriched by the presence of huts that can be dedicated to photograph of the latter. It also includes two main routes, passable on foot, which cross the area of the Nature Reserve and allows you to get to the mouth of the Isonzo.
The cache is located on the spit of land inside the Quarantìa canal where in 1935 a dam was built which was used as a drain for the waters of the Isonzo river.
You are in a nature reserve. Respect the natural environment and silence. Do not throw waste outside the appropriate bins.
