The actual event will occur on 09 July 2022 from 14:00 until 18:00.
This year the Surrey Cachers Camping Weekend and Event returns to Longacres campsite in beautiful Surrey. There are many caches, cache series and Adventure Lab Caches within a short journey of the campsite . The site is ideally situated for easy access to the North Downs, Sussex and Kent.

We will be camping from the 07th to 10th July, some will be on site a day earlier. The event will be held on 09 July 2019 from 12:00 (Midday) until 18:00. During the event we will hold the annual competition to find the Biggest Tosser in Surrey (aka tossing the cache container). There will be medals and prizes for winners in the mens, womens and childrens (U14) categories. During and after the event we will be having a tea party. Bring a chair, something to eat and drink and join in the fun. Those who enjoy baking are welcome to bring along a cake or 3!
There won't be an offsite meet this year, if you wish to come to the campsite and visit, day visitors are welcome.
Booking: We have a number of electric pitches reserved for "the Geocaching group" in our usual field. When making your booking, please e-mail and make it clear that you’re part of our group. This is to make sure that you receive the pitch rate that has been agreed and that you get a pitch in the right area. You can book by calling them on the number stated above, by email to info@longacrescamping.co.uk or by visiting the site in person to make your booking. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THE WEBSITE!!
Please note: The campsite have told us that they have had a lot of bookings and enquiries and they can only hold our reserved pitches until the end of April. Bookings made after that time stand a risk of being pitched elsewhere on the site, if any pitches are still available.
Please confirm your booking with the campsite first before logging your will attend.
When logging your intent to attend on this event page, can you please also state the number of adults, children and dogs and the nights that you will be camping.
Pricing/Costs
Pitch with Electric (2 adults) £31 per night
Pitch with no Electric (2 adults) £27 per night
Day time visitor - Free, but please report to reception (For Health and Safety reasons)
A small deposit will reserve your pitch with the balance shortly before arrival
If you plan to bring more than one vehicle camping, please let me know and the campsite beforehand. (It might incur an additional charge as the campsite is trying to discourage "turning the campsite into a car park") However if you're polite and accommodating which I know you all are, then I'm sure some arrangement can be agreed upon.
Other Info:
BBQ's - are permitted, but must be off the ground.
Fires - Permitted only in a safe container which must be raised from the ground (i.e. BBQs/firepits/firebowls) with all fires, including BBQs, always keep a bucket of water handy (bring your own bucket).
Dogs - are allowed on site but need to be kept on a lead(s).
