A clean environment is essential for healthy living. Appleton Parks and Recreation is teaming up with local GeoCachers to offer a Cache In Trash Out (CITO) event in Appleton Parks for Earth Day! Do you love hunting for treasure, figuring out puzzles and spending time in beautiful parks? If so, then come join our Earth Day CITO event. This event will start with a Geocaching 101 presentation to teach families how to look for hidden caches using a free app on their phones. After the presentation, families will help preserve the natural beauty of our parks by picking up trash while hunting for different caches in the parks. This is a great way to volunteer to improve our parks and spend a fun day with the family!
