Antonia Lofaso was born on Long Island and moved to California at age 11. After graduating from the French Culinary Institute, she was hired by Wolfgang Puck to work at his restaurant Spago. She is the executive chef, owner, or managing partner at Black Market Liquor Bar (Studio City, California), Scopa Italian Roots (Venice, California), The Local Peasant (named as Downtown’s Most Exciting New Restaurant and Lounge by EATER LA) and her newest concept, DAMA (Downtown Los Angeles, California- Latin inspired). She has a new show on Food Network, The Julia Child Challenge, and is a recurring judge on Guy’s Grocery Games.
