Guy Fieri was born in Columbus, Ohio and attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management in 1990. He currently has 17 different restaurants and for several there are more than one location; Guy’s Burger Joint is his largest chain with 34 locations (more than half of those are on Carnival Cruise ships). In March of 2022 he and Face Amusement Group opened his newest place, Guy Fieri’s Downtown Flavortown in Pigeon Forge. It has a restaurant, a 14-lane duck pin bowling alley, a full-service Tiki bar, and a 10,000 sq foot arcade. Guy has hosted many shows on Food Network including Guy’s Ranch Kitchen, Guy’s Grocery Games, Tournament of Champions, and Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. Guy is a big supporter of the military, EMS, and firefighters. In 2021 he partnered with the National Restaurant Association to create the Restaurant Employee Relief Fund to help restaurant workers struggling through the pandemic. More than $21.5 million has been raised.
