Carla Hall was born in Nashville, TN. Her path to the culinary world wasn’t a linear one. She graduated from Howard University’s Business School and worked as an accountant for two years. She then spent the next several years as a runway model. While travelling through Europe modelling, she decided she wanted to pursue a culinary career. She eventually enrolled in L’Academie de Cuisine in Bethesda, MD and graduated with a Culinary Career Training Certificate. Carla has been a judge on Holiday Baking Championship, a judge on Thanksgiving Baking Championship, and a coach on Worst Cooks in America. For 7 years she was a co-host on ABC’s ‘The Chew’.
