Geocache Description:

In order to log a smiley, you will first need to complete the Adventure Lab 'Tell Me a Story, Grandma'. After completing each stage, you will be given Bonus Word Scramble letters in the journal. Unscramble the letters to form one word. Enter that word into the checker below to get the final bonus cache coordinates. Note: There is also a Wherigo, the start of a multi-cache, and a traditional cache nearby.

This lab will take you on a quick tour of a few of the “Bronze Statues of Howard County”.  It is written in story form as told by Grandma to her young granddaughter, Annie.

A little history about the statues…

Under the leadership of Dale and Mary Ellen Turnmire, Howard County has become home to over 45 sculptures of children. The sculptures are located here in Cresco and in every town in Howard County. The project was started as a way to beautify the community, and raise community and visitor awareness to a form of art usually only seen in museums or large cities. Many businesses and private citizens have donated to this worthwhile project.

Good luck and we hope you enjoy “The Bronze Statues of Howard County”!

The final is placed on private property with permission.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
