Those who have been around since the 50's and 60's may remember Leave It to Beaver. This delightful sit com centered around the Cleaver Family, Ward, June, Wally & Theodore a.k.a. "The Beaver", who lived in Mayfield. While Mayfield wasn't supposed to be in a specific state, many thought it was the one in Ohio.
Leave It to Beaver ran for 6 years (234 episodes). In the finale, the writers finally came up with an explanation (although lame) for how Theodore got his nickname. It seems that Wally mispronounced Theodore's given name as "Tweeter" and this became "Beaver". Jerry Mathers (Beaver) always felt the writers could have come up with a better origin story.
This will be a quick P&G, hidden in a typical spot, and will give those who are on a geo-roadtrip a chance to get out and stretch before journeying on to the next smiley.
