I have to change things this year for the maker event There was not and will not be a first event. This year if you want to articipate in the cache maker portion of the event you have to find something that is camping related and make your cache out of that (I know not quite as fun as getting a mystery piece of junk from someone else). Something you would use if you were camping in a tent or a pop-up camper, not in an RV where you can take everything you need with you. Some examples would be a pie iron, marshmallow fork, lawn chair, paper plate holder, perculator coffee pot (not a plug in coffee maker!), cooler, water jug.
Use your imagination but remember you can not use tupperware or lock'n'lock containers or silimar or a pb jar or pill bottle etc. as your container, you can use that inside your cache to hold the log, but not for the cache itself.
DO NOT tell what piece of camping equipment you are using, we may need to figure that out for the prizes to be given, you know for most creative, most colorful, most transformed, least transformed or whatever I come up with to vote on this year.
You DO NOT have to create a cache container to attend the event, everyone is welcome to come visit and vote.
