Trail Orta - Lungolago Villa Curioni - Mazzetti
Prima di terminare verso Punta Movero il sentiero volge verso nord-ovest e ci porta a scoprire la Villa Curioni - Mazzetti, costruita attorno al 1880 e che incorpora in un salone al suo interno il "Bus de l'Orchera", una suggestiva grotta che da molte parti stilla ancora acqua e la cui formazione geologica è gneiss della Serie dei Laghi. Oltre la villa il sentiero gira attorno ad una casa costruita sul lago e proprio appena prima si trova la nostra cache, ben nascosta da occhi indiscreti; proseguendo si viene avvolti dai lunghi rami di alcuni alberi e si notano verso l'interno altre case ma di costruzione più recente. Qui è presente anche un piccolo sentiero che sale fino al Parcheggio Prarondo dove è possibile lasciare la macchina.

Trail Orta - Lakeside Villa Curioni - Mazzetti
Before ending towards Punta Movero, the path turns north-west and leads us to discover the Villa Curioni - Mazzetti, built around 1880 and which incorporates the "Bus de l'Orchera", a suggestive cave that water still drips from many parts and whose geological formation is gneiss from the Serie dei Laghi. Beyond the villa the path goes around a house built on the lake and just before it is our cache, well hidden from prying eyes; continuing, you are wrapped in the long branches of some trees and you can see other houses inwards, but of more recent construction. Here there is also a small path that climbs up to the Prarondo car park where it is possible to leave the car.
