Black Lightning appears in comic books published by DC Comics. Black Lightning's real name is Jefferson Pierce. Black Lightning debuted in 1977. "While his origin story has been retconned several times, his current origin story states that he was born in the DC Universe as a metahuman, a human being with superhuman abilities. Black Lightning was DC's first African-American superhero with his own series." Black Lightning has made various appearances in DC-related animated television series, video games, and comic strips, and made his live action debut in The CW's series Black Lightning - played by Cress Williams.
This cache is located in Ted Black Woods, which is part of the Meridian Township Parks system. Current park hours are dawn until dusk. Please respect the park hours. The park now has two parking areas (waypoints shown below). The park also now has nice new trail signing.
This is one of our favorite trails in one of our favorite parks. The cache container is a small sized snap-lock container hidden in a typical way. The cache is not far off of the trail, so please stay on the trail until you are near the cache. If you do not find the cache right away, please use the hint below vs. overly disturbing the area.
