Bridge over the Buffels river.
At one time, after heavy rainfall and flooding, both roads leading to this bridge crossing the Buffels river was washed away, leaving the impressive bridge standing alone, eventually earth was trucked in to re-connect the two river banks to each other. Today, you can still see evidence of erossion on the road leading up to the bridge.
Strangely, there appears to have been a gate on this side of the bridge.
Please park where the road widens so that any passing vehicle can get through.
Please be carefull driving in the early evening and at night, because Kudu and other antelope are often encounted on this road.
