Earn your 2022 Season 1 CITO souvenir by cleaning up this little park. (Yeah, the park's name is not very imaginative - maybe they're waiting to name it after an esteemed Selma citizen.) If you've already received your souvenir, come anyway! The park has a playset with covered pavillion right by the parking lot. Stairs, see photo, lead down to a trail along Cibilo creek. Lots of places to fish, so bring your fishing pole if you're inclined. You do not have to go down the stairs to pick up trash - there is trash at ground level around the playset.
We will provide trash bags. Please bring gloves, trash picker-uppers, water, and whatever else you'll need. Mr. Hazelnut can haul full trash bags up the stairs, so don't let that keep you from participating.
