Here in the States, the Church Micro series is off limits. However, anyone around the world can place a Once In A Lifetime Cache! For this one, interpreting emojis is key. Do so, and you'll be well on your way to a smiley.

Last month, I ran a marathon. In a recent conversation with geo-friends, we agreed that finishing was an accomplishment in itself. I joked, however, that there are many ways to complete a marathon, and that a whole scale could be developed. We all knew a puzzle cache was brewing. Here it is! I'll start you off with confirmation that the container is in the land of N38 W121.

Here's a 0-10 scale. Staying alive is key--levels 1-10 all assume that, and that wasn't something I wanted to repeat throughout the scale description. In general, this scale rewards not needing medical attention, but there are innumerable ways to rank-order marathon outcomes, even within the subset of finishing the race.
