This is Wiyot land. Many locals use these lesser known trails for mountain biking and hiking. Park at the water tower on Norton Rd and find the trail entrance a few feet uphill, or on Murray Rd at the metal gate by Billy and Ethel GC9QC57.
The cache will be an easy find, in order to get your smiley you must sign the OFFICIAL LOG. Online logs without an accompained written log will be deleted. Please take care to replace it as found to ensure fun for the next cacher.
Update 1/21/23- This area is an active timber harvest with new logging roads and downed trees. Please use the way points to help you find the side trail to the cache. Currently the entrance on Norton has a lot of downed trees, the way point is where we found the least amount of log scrambling to get to the trail. The walk from Murray Rd (Billy and Ethel) takes about 30 mins switching from new logging roads to old ones, keep your eyes peeled for signed of old trails and use the way point to get onto the correct side trail that will take you behind the golf course to the cache. This place is kind of like an every changing magic hedge maze, keep your wits about you and use your navigation tools and skills to keep your bearings.
