The Guangzhou Zero Point, situated within People's Park, serves as both a commemoration of Guangzhou's 2,200-year history and a geographic reference point for the city.
Crafted from refined copper, the Zero Point sculpture features intricate patterns inspired by artefacts excavated from the Nanyue King's Mausoleum, including the Dragon Phoenix Jade and the Immortals' Rowboat.
Additionally, the sculpture bears engraved coordinates for latitude and longitude. However, these coordinates do not align precisely with the Zero Point's actual location; instead, they lead to a spot several hundred feet away. It is at this offset location that the cache is hidden. Please proceed to find it.
It is improbable that the location offset in this case was caused by restrictions on geographic data in China. If anyone has insight into the true reason, please share it in the log. Your contribution is greatly appreciated.
