Ahh, what'a nice day for a walk! Sun shinin', bees buzzin', and the trail I chose is clean and soft. Heck, I could walk this with my bare feet. A trickling stream to add to the tranquility, why not? Oh, what a beautiful batch of flowers!?
Wait, what's this? It's swarming with tiny butterflies. I hear something, ummm, little? Yes, it's a butterfly calling me over with the tiniest of shouts...
These other little guys seem to be enjoying some pollen and fresh air...but someone's up to something. This butterfly here on the cap to this tube seems to be saying something to me, so I bend down real close and this happened.
"Hey, mister!" His little shout barely cutting through the buzz of nearby bees.
"Me?" I reply, perplexed.
"Yessir, can you please help me get my friend out of here?" he asked ever so politely.
What could I say but "Of course!"
"What's his name?" I ask, making small talk.
"Griswold, sir, you're looking for my friend Griswold," he explained.
"How the heck did he get in there?" I asked, still a little confused.
"Gris noticed the opening and went in to enjoy his pollen patch in private, since he's a shy eater," the little guy explained. "When all of a sudden, some people, kind of like you, came by with a pencil and gps. Noticing the lid off the container, they closed Gris inside not knowing he was in there of course." He said, clearly amused.
I unscrewed the cap and there he was, enjoying his lunch, none the wiser, to his regained freedom.
We shared a little laugh and both pledged to keep enjoying our lovely day!
Gris refused to leave the tube so I left him with a super tiny log to guard until the next cacher comes along!
