Geocache Description:

Come visit this lovely park in Brantford's Holmedale neighbourhood! Preston Park is named after Thomas Hiram Preston, who became owner of the Brantford Expositor in 1890 and later served in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario representing the Brant South riding. The flagpole was donated by his family and Board of the Parks Commissioners in 1925, the year he died.

The cache is located in the section of the park with two plaques, one for Robert Kennedy Duncan, a scientist, and the other for Norman Duncan, an author and journalist, both born in Brantford. To learn more, visit this article and check out the plaques.
