Many people know through my descriptions on other caches I take some weird leaps on linking locations and caches.
I've walked along the trail before, from the aviary (near GC67799) and noted the birds sitting on the sand bars out in the middle of Clutha River.
Back in the UK we has some small aviaries which kept getting broken into so the birds could be free.... the majority of them didn't survive but a few Parakeets made a home in the local park and now there are hundreds of them. The same people released Wallabies and so across the paddocks you could see the white (albino) Wallabies. Its very odd but cool to see out of place exotic animals.... and so from this melting pot comes the idea of wouldn't it be cool in some ways to see a flock of Pink Flamingos sitting on the sand bar out in the Clutha (if that didn't cause a huge ecosystem problem).
Well we can't have that but how about one small Pink Flamingo near a field of pigeons to make us smile. Nano pink bison container attached to it will put a smile on your map :)
