Culkin Rest Area
A nice stop for a long trip. This is the last rest stop before you reach Duluth. There was a geocache here for many years but it recently vanished. I think every rest stop deserves at least one geocache, so I refilled the empty space. That being said, this one takes significantly more work than other rest stop caches. One thing's for sure, your legs will be thoroughly stretched out.
The bushwhack can be tough, especially in the wet months, but you should stay dry if you go slow and play your cards right. I will say it is much easier with frozen ground, so I ensured that it is winter-friendly. If you're visiting in any other season, I strongly recommend checking satellite imagery of the area beforehand.
You should have no problems spotting it once you get to GZ. There is plenty of space inside for TBs and swag. Enjoy the rest of your journey up I-35 -- I assure you it will bring you somewhere awesome!
