#31 The Dogliest Detective and the Phonetic World

Toby was late getting to the training room, and that meant the back row would already be full of other ACDA employees. Now it would be tougher for him to play on his phone during the all-day mandatory training session. He settled for a seat next to the wall.

Twenty minutes into the HR training session, the room's side door slowly opened and every bored employee turned to look.

"I am sorry to interrupt." It was Pam the receptionist, holding up some some paper and pointing at Toby. "We just got an important fax on one of Toby's cases that needs immediate attention."

Toby jumped up, almost dropped his phone, and quickly exited the room while telling Captain McGruff: "It must be the vital information I badly need."

Pam closed the door behind Toby. "That teacher from Tommy's school called and said Tommy 'did it again' on the next quiz. Something about Tommy writing more snarky answers. She is not sure exactly what he was doing this time and she wanted your help. I told her to fax it over and I would see if it was vital enough to pull you out of training." Pam said with a wink.

Toby thanked Pam profusely.  Then he grabbed snacks and drinks from the break room and headed for his office. He piled up a bunch of books and reports to hide his desktop and looked at what was faxed over.  Soon he was marking up the first answer.

Toby wanted to wait until the afternoon to "grade" the rest of the quiz, but having an unfinished puzzle on his desk bothered him too much. So he quickly circled the rest of the words in each sentence that together sounded like a world capital city.  He did wait, however, until the end of the day to fax it back to the teacher and re-joined the training session just before it ended.

To get the coordinates to the cache, report to Certitude the first letters of the eight world capitals separated with a plus sign, such as like "B+C+D+E+F+G+H+I".  The capital cities are phonetically (not necessarily spelled correctly) a combination of two whole words in the sentence, with the first part earlier in the sentence.

P.S. The extra credit capitals are not needed to get the geocache, but solving them does entitle you to claim "Extra Credit" in your log.  They are made up of three words.

P.P.S. You can claim "Extra Extra Credit" if you find all six world capitals that PenTrek hid in his log entry.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
