Jetzt wo eine Seniorenresidenz (Wohnpark Fortuna) steht, gab es früher eine Schokoladenfabrik – und zwar von der Firma Bensdorp – oder wie sie 1907 hieß, als die Fabrik gebaut wurde, „Hollandsche Cacao en Chocolade-Fabrieken v./h. Bensdorp & Co in Amsterdam, Repräsentanz Wien“. In der Fabrik wurden Kakaopulver, Kakaomasse, Kakaobutter, Schokolade und Tunkmasse erzeugt. Die Fabrik gab es bis Anfang der 1980er Jahre – bevor die Fabrik zum selben Zeitpunkt wie die Graf & Stift Gründe auf der anderen Strassenseite abgerissen wurde.
In der Billa Plus in der Nähe (Krottenbachstrasse 82-88) gibt es noch Bensdorp-Schokolade im Sortiment zu finden.

Where the Fortuna Wohnpark (assisted living for the elderly) now stands, there was once a Bensdorp chocolate factory. When it was built in 1907 it was officially the “Hollandsche Cacao en Chocolade-Fabrieken v./h. Bensdorp & Co in Amsterdam, Repräsentanz Wien” (Vienna representative office of the Dutch cocoa and chocolate fabrics of Bensdorp & Co of Amsterdam). The factory produced cocoa powder, cocoa mass, cocoa butter, chocolate bars and chocolate frosting/icing. The factory was pulled down in the early 1980s, around the same time as the former Gräf & Stift carriage works on the other side of the road being pulled down.
The nearby Billa Plus at Krottenbachstrasse 82-88 still stocks Bensdorp chocolate.
