Sussex Cachers Beach BBQ VIII Event Cache

Welcome to the eighth annual Sussex Cachers Beach

11.00 - 15.00

The event is open to all Cachers, you don't have to be from Sussex to attend. We're a friendly bunch and it is a good way to meet other Cachers.

Food will be available from 12.00-14.00, unless it runs out earlier! There will be good quality Sausages, Burgers, buns, condiments, etc, for which there will be a small charge. Any profit made will be donated to the potential large scale Geocaching Event the in the South East in 2024.

Any vegetarians are free to bring their own food which I will gladly cook for a small donation.

I appreciate that some peoples attendance will be weather dependant. I ask that if you plan to join us and would like to eat that you log a Will Attend by Wednesday 1st June, stating how many of your party will eat. This will allow me to cater accordingly. I will buy some extras but can’t guarantee if you turn up later in the event without having logged that there will be any food left!

Please bring something to sit on be it chairs or picnic blankets along with any drinks or other food you wish. If the weather is on our side then don't forget a hat, some sun cream and maybe some shade! I will have my event shelter up again but it can only fit a limited number of people under it, feel free to bring a gazebo if you have one.

Flags are more than welcome too if you want to fly yours.

Although not right on the beach, it is just a stone’s throw away and there are some public toilets close by. Parking is available on the streets nearby but on a nice day it can get very busy along here.
