Southington Land Trust has acquired a new property and we need your help. Trail blazing is first on the list. From 1-3 PM we will meet to clear a path around the West portion of the property. The historic Farmington Canal runs through the property and will be the main feature visible along this trail. Future dates will be needed for additional work so if you can not make this one, be on the lookout for more.
If you have availability please bring pruners, loppers, leaf and iron rakes, bow saws, etc.
We will meet at the posted coordinates and blaze the green ribbon trail that has been placed already.
Ticks were abundant when placing the ribbon markings so be vigilant in checking and consider applying repellant before starting.
