Discover a hidden gem near Blendon Woods Metro Park! Be prepared for a rugged ~1-mile hike through beautiful forested ravines in this pristine piece of undeveloped Metro Parks property called Blendon Ravines. Since there are no trails, adventure surely awaits you as you search for this large cache. How you get there is up to you! Dog friendly.
Blendon Ravines has been a perennial favorite since it was first included on the 2019 GeoTrail. Since this park hasn’t seen a lot of Metro Park caches, we picked a new location because the best part of caching here is exploring this amazing natural area in the middle of the city.
Be sure to check out the 21 other caches that are a part of this year’s Metro Parks GeoTrail! To participate in the Metro Parks GeoTrail go to Metro Parks to find complete instructions. Find, log and record the code word from at least 15 caches to be eligible for one of 100 limited edition GeoCoins. Find all 21 caches to unlock the coordinates to the Bonus Puzzle Cache.
