The posted coordinates are for the Post Office Parking Lot. The physical cache is NOT in, next to, or near the building or on the Post Office property. The cache will however be a short distance from the Post Office.
This is an easy puzzle to solve, once you learn how to apply the set of three numbers below for the cache. They are Grid, Row, and Column.
Grid:
When you enter the Post Office you will find Post Office boxes on 2 walls in a room to the right. A Grid refers to ALL of the boxes in one of the 2 wall sets. There are 10 Grids in that room. Each grid goes from floor to ceiling.
Grid Number - Find the P.O. Box number that matches the Grid number below and you will be standing in front of the Grid set you need to use. A Grid set has rows of boxes that run from left to right and columns that run from top to bottom.
Row Number (Referred to as "R" below):
Starting at the upper left corner of the Grid set and counting from top to bottom, the top Row is 1, the next Row down is 2, and continuing on to the bottom of the Grid set.
Column Number (Referred to as "C" below):
Counting from left to right, the leftmost box is Column 1 and the next box from the left is Column 2 and continuing on to the right side of the Grid set.
To obtain the Final coordinates for the physical cache location, please substitute the P.O. Box numbers that you have been asked to locate into the partial coordinates below for Grid set:
(Grid 6, Row 1, Column1) + (Grid 10, Row 9, Column 2) = ABC
(Grid 3, Row 1, Column 5) + (Grid 2, Row 5, Column 5) = XYZ
