This is the latest installment in a series I call the "ETCH Series" or Einstienium99's Tree Climb Hides. This series should test your tree climbing abilities in different ways, with some caches being much harder than others. You must get your name on the log inside the cache in order to claim the cache as found. You do not get to just spot the cache from the ground and write a "found it" log.
Both the tree and the cache container on this one have been repurposed for this cache. The container comes from another one of my tree climbs that I grew bored of. This is the third time I have climbed this tree. The first was in March of 2018, during the Texas Challenge Team Competition when there was a cache up this tree. The second time was for an official cache that was up this tree. Now, it is to hide a cache up this tree. It is not in the same spot as the other caches that have been up here, but it is the same tree. This time, you are looking for a green bison tube that is on the west side of the tree. I hid this cache in March, so the D/T rating reflects that.
General Safety Disclaimer: Get these caches at your own risk. I recommend bringing a buddy just for safety, but that's up to you. In the event that you fall, it's nice to have someone there to help dust you off, or call for help if it's worse. If you don't feel safe climbing a certain tree, then don't. Please, don't do anything stupid. After all, it's just a game.
