Bambi loves Books Mystery Cache

Geocache Description:

Dit is de tweede cache in de "Bambi loves.." serie

Bambi houd van boeken!! en hoe!!!
Eigenlijk lees ik alles wat los en vast zit. Met vooral een liefde voor horror, fantasy en kinderboeken.  Voor mij zijn boeken echt magische werelden waarin ik duizenden levens kan leiden. 

Sterker nog, Bambi schrijft zelf ook en is al een paar keer gepubliceerd... tja de liefde gaat diep!

Vanwege deze passie vond ik dat er in mijn omgeving maar eens een cache moest komen met dit thema. Op bovenstaande coördinaten ligt geen cache, maar je kunt er wel iets anders vinden dat met mijn liefde
voor boeken te maken heeft. Hier is namelijk mijn voortuin en kun je een gratis-minibibliotheek vinden.Tevens kun je als je toch bezig bent gelijk mijn andere multi meepikken; Bambi liefde voor Vreewijk
Dan kun je gelijk deze prachtige wijk leren kennen.

LET OP: deze cache is alleen te loggen op dinsdag t/m zaterdag van 10:00 - 17:00.  In de buurt van de cache is het sinds november 2021 betaald parkeren. 


Puzzel:
Voor het vinden van de cache zul je de volgende puzzel moeten oplossen met vragen over een paar favoriete boeken van mij. Met de antwoorden bereken je dan de coördinaten. Voor de eerste drie vinders ligt er een cadeautje in de cache.
 Lees wel de vragen goed want voor sommige vragen zoek je geen letter, maar een cijfer!

A. Bram Stokers klassieker  is nog steeds één van de engste boeken ooit. De 4e letter van de graaf zijn achternaam is A

B. Ook Mary Shelley creeërde ooit een legendarisch monster. Voor B zoek je de 1e letter uit de naam van de schepper van dit meelijwekkende wezen.

C.  Vind de eerste zin uit "Moby Dick" (LET OP JE ZOEKT DE NEDERLANDSE VERTALING). Neem hieruit de 4e letter van de genoemde naam, dit is C

D.  Even een weggevertje!!! D is de 2e letter uit de voornaam van 's werelds bekendste tovernaarsleerling sinds 1997/1998.

E.  "De hut van oom Tom" bracht veel teweeg en is daardoor één van de grote Amerikaanse klassiekers geworden. De letter die 5 keer voorkomt in de volledige naam van de schrijfster is E

F.  In "In de ban van de ring" van J.R.R Tolkien  moet de hobbit Frodo samen met zijn kameraden een hele lange weg afleggen. De eerste letter van zijn exacte einddoel waar hij de ring kan vernietigen (dus niet de provincie Mordor) is F

G.  In dit beroemde boek van Daniel Defoe krijgt een kanibaal de naam Vrijdag. De laatste letter uit de achternaam van het hoofdpersonage en titeldrager is G

H.  Voor H neem je de laatste twee cijfers van het getal in de titel van dit boek. Je bent op zoek naar het beroemde boek van Jules Verne waarin de avonturen van professor Pierre Aronnax centraal staan. Deze twee laatste cijfers zijn H

I.  'Safe?  Who said anything about safe?  Course he's not safe. But he's good. He's the King, I tell you!'   Één van mijn favoriete series die ik moet blijven herlezen. Maar over wie gaat dit citaat uit het meesterwerk van C.S Lewis? De 1e letter van  zijn naam is ? I

J.  Voor J heb je de 9e letter nodig van de magische familienaam uit de gelijknamige kronieken geschreven door Tony DiTerlizzi.

K.  Aidan Chambers schreef een prachtig 'hoofdkussenboek" maar van wie is dit dagboek?  De 1e letter van de voornaam van dit personage is K

L.   Sir Arthur Conan Doyle creeërde een van mijn favoriete speurneuzen. De 6e letter van zijn voornaam lijkt op een cijfer, dit cijfer is L

M.  De trilogie over het gouden kompas kan ik iedereen aanbevelen. Prachtig!!! De 2e letter uit de voornaam van de schrijver is M

N.  'Marley was dood, daarmee zullen we beginnen. Daar kan geen twijfel over zijn.'   Bekende eerste woorden uit de beroemde kerstvertelling van Charles Dickens. Voor N zoek je de waarde van de 1e letter (die ook de 3e letter is) uit de voornaam van Scrooge's  boekhouder.

This is the second cache in the "Bambi loves..." series.

Bambi love books !! and how!!!
Actually, I read everything that is on paper. Especially I love horror, fantasy and children's books. For me books are magical worlds where I can live thousands of lives.

Because of this passion, it was time that a cache with this theme had to come up in my neighbourhood. At the coordinates above is not a cache, but you can find something else that has to do with my love
 for books. For this is my front yard and you can (anytime soon) find a free mini library there. Also you can try and find my other multicache Bambi loves Vreewijk. Then you get to know this lovely neighbourhood.

NOTE: you can only log this cache Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00.  Since November 2021 there is a parking fee in the area of the cache. 

Puzzle:
To find the cache you will have to solve the next puzzle with questions about a few favorite books of mine. With the answers you calculate the coordinates. For the first three finders there is a present in the cache. But read the questions carefully because for some questions you do not get a letter, but a number!

A. Bram Stoker's classic is still one of the scariest book ever. The 4th letter of the Count his surname is A

B. Even Mary Shelley created once a legendary monster. to find B you search for the 1st letter of the name of the creator of this pathetic creature.

C. Find the first sentence from "Moby Dick" . Take the 5th letter of the name in this sentence, this is C

D. Just a giveaway !!! D is the 2nd letter of the first name of the world's most famous student wizard since 1997/1998.

E. "Uncle Tom's Cabin" brought a lot of protest and has therefore become one of the great American classics. The letter that is five times in the full name of the author is E

F. In "The Lord of the Rings" by JRR Tolkien, the Hobbit Frodo, together with his comrades take a really long journey. The first letter of its exact final destination where he can destroy the ring (not the province of  Mordor, you need the name of the place) is F 

G. In this famous book of Daniel Defoe a cannibal got the name Friday. The last letter of the last name of the main character and title holder is G

H. For H take the last two digits of the number in the title of this book. You are looking for the famous novel by Jules Verne in which the adventures of Professor Pierre Aronnax are central. These last two figures are  H

N. "Marley was dead, to begin with. Dead as a doornail. "  Famous first words from the famous Christmas carol by Charles Dickens. For N look for the value of the 1st (Wich is the same as the 3rd) letter of the first name of Scrooge's bookkeeper.
