With all the vacationers rolling in and out every week, I every once in awhile walk the beach at night, and you would be amazing how many things people leave on the beach. I've found sunglasses, iphones, brand new beach chairs, and your typical plastic trash. What a better way to end earth day than picking up trash at night!
I will provide the picker uppers, trash bags, and head lamps... and I will also dispose of the trash. I'm not entirely sure if a CITO has ever been hosted in the dark, but this could be not just a ton of fun, but a great way to give back to the community of Gulf Shores... we might even see ghost crabs out and about :)
Please check the reference points that I have given. There is FREE PUBLIC PARKING located at the coords given for parking, and we will meet up as a group just outside of the Pink Pony.
