The geocache is located on the Mountain View Trail at Elkhead Reservoir State Park. This trailhead is located at the Northeast Access picnic area on the right side. From the trailhead, take the trail to the left. You will hike up several switchbacks with an elevation gain of over 300'. The geocache is near a park bench at about 0.4 miles. A parking pass (daily or annual) is required and available at the kiosk near the restrooms. Please keep all pets on a leash.
