swan flying area
Swans (whooper swans and whooper swans) are seen in the Kurokawa River in Hanyuda, Mibu-cho around the end of October every year.
They fly in and overwinter until mid-March.
Local residents are engaged in river cleanups and other activities to protect swans and create the environment.
Remember your manners.
Cars can park on the west side of the Black River bridge down to the riverbed.
Please note that it is often crowded during the swan flying season.

壬生町羽生田の黒川には毎年10月下旬頃に白鳥（コハクチョウやオオハクチョウ）が
飛来し3月中旬頃まで越冬します。
地元の方が河川清掃など、白鳥の保護活動や環境づくりを行っています。
マナーをもって白鳥を見守ってください。
車は黒川の橋の西側から河川敷に降りて停められます。
白鳥飛来シーズンは混むことが多いのでご注意ください。
発見後はコンテナを元と同じように戻して下さいますようお願いします。

2022年 栃木県民の日
栃木県民の日に制定されている6月15日は1873年に旧栃木県と宇都宮県が合併し栃木県が誕生した日です。この日を記念して、2022年の県民の日に栃木にゆかりのあるジオキャッシャーが募りキャッシュを公開しました。

The 15th June is Tochigi Citizens’ Day. Tochigi Prefecture was established on June 15, 1873 with the merger of Tochigi Prefecture and Utsunomiya Prefecture. Celebrating this day, Geocachers loved Tochigi have published caches.
