L'insediamento, formato dall'edificio dominicale e dalle barchesse ad esso ortogonali che racchiudono il giardino, si estende verso la campagna con altri edifici rustici. Secondo la tradizione orale della famiglia, la costruzione risale al 1640, ma è più probabile che risalga al secolo successivo. Ospite della villa fu il pittore Gian Domenico Tiepolo che lasciò due dipinti nella cappella di famiglia. L'assetto dell'edificio evidenzia la fusione tra la tipologia del palazzo urbano di tradizione friulana, con fronte in blocco unico che affaccia sulla strada del paese, e quella più tipicamente veneta. Il prospetto presenta due torrette laterali ed un portale centrale d'ingresso, al quale corrispondono ai piani superiori le aperture balaustrate. Le altre aperture arrichite, al piano nobile, da cimase, si dispongono in modo ordinato e simmetrico. Pregevoli sono i due portali ad arco laterali che danno accesso ai rustici. Il salone centrale da ballo presenta decorazioni a stucco e affreschi del cividalese Chiarottini e del veneziano Fontebasso.

The site, made up of the main building and barchesse — store houses — that are at right angles to the main property and which act to enclose the garden, extends towards the country-side with other outbuildings. According to the family's oral tradition, it was built in 1640, yet it is more likely that it dates back to a century later. The painter Gian Domenico Tiepolo was a guest at the villa and he left two of his paintings in the family chapel. The layout of the building highlights the fusion between traditional Friuli urban dwellings - with the solid block front that looks on the street of the town - and typically Venetian style buildings. The facade features two side turrets and a central entrance doorway, which corresponds to balustraded openings on the upper floors. The other openings on the main floor are embellished with moulding and are arranged in an ordered and symmetrical manner.
The two arched doorways on the sides are particularly fine and they provide access to the outbuildings. The central ballroom features stucco work and frescos from the Cividale-born Chiarottini and the Venetian Fontebasso.
