Congratulations to fsibero for First-To-Find.
The first in a series of nine, taking you to all of the communities of Goshen County, Wyoming.
Torrington, Lingle, Ft. Laramie, Jay Em, Huntley, Veteran, Yoder, Hawk Springs and La Grange.
(Actually, there is a tenth, bonus cache, if you complete all nine. There will be a piece of information/clue in each cache. The clue from this cache is on a label inside the cache container. Will probable write the clue on the log sheet also.)
This cache was missing, so I have replaced it with a new, smaller container (no swag, BYOP).
Also changed the location to a slightly easier location to acquire and return. So changed the coordinates slightly and had to change the puzzle to match.
The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates.
Wyoming is my adopted state, with Torrington, Goshen County, as my adopted town. I have finally started hiding caches and wanted to see more mystery types, so I'm creating a Mystery Cache hide in each community in Goshen County. The physical caches shouldn't be too hard to locate, and the Mystery puzzles can all be solved from home with a little research. They are probably on the simple end of the spectrum and may be suitable to introduce new geocachers to mystery puzzles.
Torrington City Website

Torrington is the County Seat of Goshen County. Located in southeastern Wyoming, at the intersection of U.S. 85 and State Highway 26. Besides having numerous businesses & restaurants and all the government buildings associated with a county seat, it's home to the Eastern Wyoming College ( Go Lancers ! ), a hospital and a livestock auction house, And our downtown theater was just renovated and reopened (Yay !). We're only about 75 minutes north of Cheyenne, the state capitol.
I've been told that we are in the "Banana Belt" of Wyoming, not getting as cold or as much snow as a lot of Wyoming. And from what I have observed in the last couple years of being here, I believe it. I've watched storms on weather radar head toward us, only to end up going north or south of the area, bypassing us.
The cache:
The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates.
The posted coordinates will take you to city hall.
Some of the first things we did when we moved here was to give change-of-address notices to LOTS of things.
Then, after that, we applied for Wyoming driver's licenses.
AND registered our vehicles. Got our new plates. Cool little bucking horse and rider on them. (The horse's name is Steamboat, and that silhouette is EVERYWHERE in Wyoming,)

The cache is located at the following coordinates:
N 42º A.BC' W 104º D.EF'
A = Sweetwater County
B = 4 times Lincoln County
C = Albany County
D = Park County
E = Sheridan County
F = 6 times Goshen County
Wyoming residents will probably figure this out pretty quickly, but for the rest of you, you can resort to the hint if you get stymied.
I was granted permission to place this cache at this location.
You can validate your puzzle solution with
certitude.
