I have many fond memories spent at this park and still walk my dogs here daily, but it has gone downhill the past couple of years. There are trash cans galore, however no one seems to know how to use them. I CITO as much as I can on my walks, but with the soccer and baseball fans, park kids, and lot lizards here every weekend, it is a never ending job.
We will meet by the north parking lot at 9 a.m. I will have trash bags and gloves, but bring your picker TOTTs if you would like. Wheelchairs are accessible on the paths, terrain is upped for those who will be cleaning through the bushes and field. The remodeled bathroom and water fountains are finally operable and open to the public. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
