Mount Doom is a fictional volcano in J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle-earth legendarium. It is located in the northwest of the Black Land of Mordor and close to Barad-dûr.
Either the fire in the Cracks of Doom is hotter than any other fire on Middle-Earth, or it has special power because it was where the One Ring was made. Either way, what makes Mount Doom special is that it is the only place the the One Ring could be unmade.
Enjoy your not- so- easy hike to the top and don't forget the ring, errr, I mean your tott bag.
Follow the power line roads to the bottom of the hill, but you may need 4x4 or awd to avoid getting stuck in sand.
