You may sign the log at any time and post a note on the cache page. Any "found it" logs that don't qualify will be deleted. There is a challenge checker you can run to see if you qualify.
I love to find challenge caches. It gives me another reason to get outside and enjoy this hobby. It also takes me to places I would never go to without geocaching. I currently have 283 challenge cache finds.
