GeoGuider: Thanks to everyone for coming out to the CITO on the day before Earth Day. It was a chilly one for this year's Earth Day event. One of these days we'll get spring and it will stay. OK, Ok, then, don't hold your breath! In the meantime, I love how someone can organize a CITO and people show up to do their bit. I was telling someone in Grande Prairie this weekend about how we get together as a group and go cleanup garbage in a local park for about an hour. He was in disbelief then congratulated all of us for our stewardship.

Please join me at the posted coordinates in Callingwood Park at 4:30 pm.  From there, we'll fan out and pick up litter in the neighboring park. Due to hygiene concerns, please bring your own hand sanitizer, garbage bags, gloves and pickers. Let's celebrate Earth Day/Week in this wonderful capital city of ours by doing our bit for the environment. We will take a group picture near the posted coordinates at 5:20 pm before the event wraps up.
