Well - what's this?!.. an intriguing structure on the river bank (with a 'twin' on the opposite bank!?..) which we often stop at, for a good vantage point when walking this pathway. However, what the purpose of the impressive structure is - we are not sure of... having asked several local friends what it is - various answers are offered, from 'a fishing platform' to an observation point!?!.. The most plausible so far being that (together with it's twin..) it marked the finnish (or start?..) line for the 'head of the river' rowing races which were prevalent on the Foyle especially in the early years of the 20th century.
Cache is a magnetic micro disguised to blend in with the structure, please return it exactly as you found it and bring your own pen + tweezers!..
GZ is readily accessible by wheelchair along a very good / wide tarmac path (streetlights etc.) So, in reality - I would imagine most wheelchair users would be able to reach / locate container.
