Sa ei näe siin enam kahte monumenti ...
1958 aastal avati siia mälestusmärk mida näed, loodud Juhan Raudsepa poolt ja mälestamaks töörahva eest langenuid erinevatel aastatel. Tervest reast aastatest on pädev siiski vaid üks seotuna selle kohaga, 1924 aastal tõepoolest maeti siia ringi teadmata hulk Nõukogude sõdureid. 2022 aasta augustis kaevati haud lahti ja leiti siit üle 80 surnukeha. Punakivi teisaldati.
Teise mälestusmärgi, mida sa siin enam ei näe, püstitas siia Tiit Madisson 2002 aastal, Saksa sõduri kujutisega. Samal aastal see siit eemaldati ning avati uuesti tema poolt 20 augustil 2004 aastal Lihulas. Mis sai edasi, on juba ajalugu… Juhan Parts ja Lagedi.

1958 a memorial what you see here was opened. Created by Juhan Raudsepp and to commemorate those who fell for the Soviet Working People Party in different years. Of the whole series of years, only one competent connection is regarding to this burial site - in 1924 an unknown number of Soviet soldiers were indeed reburied here. In August 2022 grave was opened and uver 80 bodyes found. Stone is removed...
The second monument, which you no longer see here, was erected here by Tiit Madisson in 2002, with the image of a German soldier. In same year, it was removed and reopened on 20 August 2004 in Lihula. What happened next is history… It was removed also few weeks later by order of government and allegedly taken to Lagedi.
