A quick cache located at the Portuguese well (Perigi Portugis in Malay. The cache name is in Kristang, the creole language of the "Portuguese" [actually mosty mixed Malay/Portuguese] communitity in the region)
This well however seems to have been originally dug by the actual Portuguese army (and not the Kristang community) after their conquest of Malacca in 1511 while defending against the Bugis. (This may be the reason that the Kristang language is not used anywhere at the well..)
The well is said to have never dried up and have never dried up, but when found presently one finds it filled in and apart from an informational stele largely abandoned.
The cache is a simple nano.
