Every April the President proclaims National Park Week to celebrate America’s treasures. The National Park system includes over 400 sites consisting of traditional national parks, national military battlefields, national seashores, national historic sites, national memorials, national wildlife reserves, national recreation areas and national scenic trails (plus others). Some of the sites are famous, while others may be almost unknown.
We were thinking that this would be a good year to visit some of these wonderful locations. Our plans would include the following sites:
Harpers Ferry National Historical Park
San Antonio Missions National Historical Park
El Yunque National Forest
Hot Springs National Park
And
Olympic National Park
Theodore Roosevelt National Park
Shenandoah National Park
Great Sand Dunes National Park
There are some things that you will want to know:
- There are no “red herrings” in this puzzle. Determine the correct method and you will have good coordinates.
- Collect all the numbers and put them in order. Then place degree marks and decimals in the normal positions.
- You are looking for a clear plastic tube (test tube size)
- Bring a writing utensil! You will need it to sign the log.
- The cache is NOT hidden in a National park; but rather a local park.
- Do not look for this cache at night!!
- The difficulty relates to the puzzle. The hide is very straightforward.
Good luck!! And Happy Hunting!!
