員林市是彰化縣人口第二多行政區，也是隱形富豪的聚集地，至今(2022)已有約700位富豪集中於此。東與芬園鄉、南投市為鄰，南與社頭鄉相接，西臨永靖鄉、埔心鄉，北方為大村鄉。 員林車站於2014年11月2日切換成鐵路高架化，而車站附近的生活機能完善，交通也十分便利，有計程車、腳踏車、公車、客運、汽機車租借等等。
