The Murk Esk flows from the North Yorkshire Moors confluencing with the River Esk at Grosmont before flowing into the North Sea at Whitby.
The whole North Yorkshire Moors area is home to some impressive views and scenery, not to mention quaint villages and of course Goathland a.k.a. Heartbeat country. You might catch sight of the steam train and Goathland station also features in the Harry Potter films.
The cache is located close to a bridge crossing the Murk Esk between Goathland and Egton.
For a park and grab there's a pull in on Goathland side opposite GZ just before the bridge. However the best option would be to park at the top before the cattle grid and take a walk down. The area is generally pretty quiet for both meandering and motoring muggles, although in summer months it can be busier.
You're looking for a camo cache the size of a hospital sample tube. You will need a pen. Please return the cache where you found it making sure you're not seen and it's out of sight.
If you have kiddlywinks be aware of the traffic with the road being narrow and the fact it's near running water.
I do quite a bit of wildcamping in this area. You never know, you might even spot my car. You'll know it if you see it !
