La civiltà nuragica si sviluppò in Sardegna lungo un arco cronologico di circa mille anni dando vita ad una struttura sociale molto complicata.
Le strutture architettoniche tipiche di quest civiltà sono conosciute come Nuraghi e sono case-fortezze preistoriche con mura turrite costituite da torri a due piani a forma di tronco di cono, realizzate con pietre di diverse dimensioni disposte a secco in cerchi concentrici sovrapposti che si stringono verso la sommità, con porte sormontate da architrave, corridoi di accesso e camere circolare interne coperte da pseudocupole.
In genere il nuraghe veniva eretto su altipiani e non aveva funzione di sepoltura come si riteneva negli anni scorsi. Alcuni nuraghi raggiungevano anche i 22 metri di altezza, come nel caso del nuraghe Santu Antine di Torralba, e potevano articolarsi in più torri comunicanti.
Sono stati individuati nuraghi semplici, cioè a torre isolata e con camerette affiancate, e nuraghi complessi, con camere sovrapposte a 2 e a 3 piani con scale a spirale e corpi addossati alla torre.
In sardo la parola nuraghe significa mucchio di pietre. Ad oggi in tutta la Sardegna sono stati scoperti 7 mila nuraghi ma si stima che siano oltre 10 mila, proprie della civiltà protosarda e non comuni alle altre civiltà antiche del Mediterraneo.
La cache si trova sotto il nuraghe abbandonato nella campagna "Masconi"; questa struttura è molto interessante e sconosciuta nel circuito turistico, perché non è mai stata valorizzata né riqualificata come attrazione. Il nuraghe è su più livelli, sulla sommità di un piccolo promontorio.
Seminascosto dalla vegetazione, si può ammirare il muro esterno ed un cunicolo che, dall'alto, si inoltra nella profondità. Sconsiglio di esplorare questo condotto, non è sicuro.
Il contenitore è su un livello sottostante, all'ingresso di un'altra stretta galleria che si inoltra nel buio sotteraneo. Non ho idea di dove porti il passaggio e, anche in questo caso, sconsiglio di provare a percorrerlo se non si sa esattamente ciò che si sta facendo.
Cercate lungo il perimetro del nuraghe e troverete l'accesso nascosto. Buon divertimento!

The Nuragic civilization developed in Sardinia over a chronological period of about a thousand years, giving rise to a very complicated social structure.
The typical architectural structures of this civilization are known as Nuraghi and are prehistoric fortress-houses with turreted walls consisting of two-storey towers in the shape of a truncated cone, made with stones of different sizes arranged dry in overlapping concentric circles that tighten towards the top, with doors surmounted by architraves, access corridors and internal circular chambers covered by pseudocupole.
Generally the nuraghe was erected on plateaus and did not have a burial function as was believed in previous years. Some nuraghes even reached 22 meters in height, as in the case of the Santu Antine di Torralba nuraghe, and could be divided into several communicating towers.
Simple nuraghi have been identified, that is with an isolated tower and small rooms side by side, and complex nuraghi, with superimposed rooms with 2 and 3 floors with spiral staircases and bodies leaning against the tower.
In Sardinian the word nuraghe means heap of stones. To date, 7,000 nuraghi have been discovered throughout Sardinia but it is estimated that there are over 10 thousand, typical of the Proto-Sardinian civilization and not common to other ancient Mediterranean civilizations.
The cache is located under the abandoned nuraghe in the "Masconi" countryside; this structure is very interesting and unknown in the tourist circuit, because it has never been valued or redeveloped as an attraction. The nuraghe is on several levels, on the top of a small promontory. Half hidden by the vegetation, you can admire the external wall and a tunnel that, from above, goes into the depth. I do not recommend exploring this conduit, it is not sure. The container is on a level below, at the entrance to another narrow tunnel that goes into the underground darkness. I have no idea where the passage leads and, again, I do not recommend trying to walk it if you don't know exactly what you are doing.
Search along the perimeter of the nuraghe and you will find the hidden access. Good fun!
