James Bridger had a cache located here.
I have not had the privilege of meeting JB, but I have enjoyed finding his caches.
I noticed JB archived the cache he had in this area, and I could not resist revising this area using his old page description.
I thought about naming this the Lake Andes and Burke Rest Area, but that sounded ostentatious.
This cache is hidden at a roadside parking area along Highway 18, the same highway of Oyate Trail fame.
There is plenty of room to park and you do not need to cross any fences to get at this one.
The hiding area can be kind of pokey and there are trees and other things hidden in the grass, so watch your step.
Respect the area, CITO if needed, practice stealth if warranted, and rehide the cache as you find it so the next person can have the same challenge. Thank you and good luck.
