Huajing New Town generally refers to a residential area of approximately one square kilometre in Tianhe District, between Guangshen Railway to the north, Fengye Road to the east, Zhongshan Avenue to the south and Huanan Expressway(S4) to the west. This large residential area was first built in the 1990s and has grown to have a population of tens of thousands of residents. Huajing Road Station of Guangzhou Metro Line 11 will be setup on the south of Huajing New Town in the future.
Huajing New Town Terminus is set up at the northeast corner of Huajing New Town area. As most of the buses in Guangzhou are electric buses, this bus terminus has complete charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, so there are also many charging posts nearby for private electric vehicles.
