Huajing New Town generally refers to a residential area of approximately one square kilometre in Tianhe District, between Guangshen Railway to the north, Fengye Road to the east, Zhongshan Avenue to the south and Huanan Expressway(S4) to the west. This large residential area was first built in the 1990s and has grown to have a population of tens of thousands of residents. Huajing Road Station of Guangzhou Metro Line 11 will be setup on the south of Huajing New Town in the future.
Taoran Tingyuan is a residential community located in the northern part of Huajing New Town. There is a miniature park in the public area on the south side of the plot, which is well landscaped as well as a platform where people often practice roller skating or square dancing here.
