Welcome to James H. “Sloppy” Floyd State Park!!! This is a 561 acre park with 2 lakes, playgrounds, picnic shelters, campsites and more!! 😎 There are over 5 miles of hiking trails that take you around the lakes, to an old Marble Mine and even connect to the Pinhoti Trail. The addition of new geocaches will hopefully enhance your time out on the trails. 😃
This trail connects the campsites to the cottages and also take you to the Lower Lake Loop trail.
You are looking for a large lock-n-lock container. There are swag items in the geocache for trading but the stamp and inkpad are not for trade and need to remain in the cache as they are part of the Letterbox Hybrid.
*Please note there is a $5 daily park pass required for each vehicle in the park. You can also purchase an annual pass at friendsofgastateparks.org or at the Visitor's Center.
