Geocache Description:

The Axeman Cometh

A sad rejected, but now recycled, antique woodman's tool, another unusual container, courtesy of Lougor6159. Well if he couldn't find a use for it, we might as well!

Pease take care when opening and closing container, and replace deeply as found. An isolated Cache which we would rather did not cause too many DNF  maintenance visits.

If walking easttwards towards Landulph after this find it is then neccesary to traverse Neal Point. If the tide has by now risen too high, and  it is NOT possible to scramble acroos the rockface here once the tide has covered the limited foreshore, talking to the locals has revealed an unofficial inland footpath which bypasses Neal Point when impassable due to level of tide. It will be neccessary to backtrack to access the footpath, the access point  is fairly steep! See Waypoint 1 below.

Spoiler

From here until rounding Weir Point, the terrain deteriorates, and can be somewhat deeper claggy mud.
