The Forest Floor geocache is hidden inside Adkins Arboretum, a 400-acre native garden and plant preserve located in the Chesapeake Bay region. While here, enjoy our 5-mile trail system along meadow, forest, wetland, and stream habitats. Bikes, picnicking, and dogs on leashes are allowed. Children will enjoy the Gnome Home, wigwams, and Play Garden.
The Arboretum's Visitor's Center is open Tuesday--Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm and Sunday from noon to 4. Our grounds are open from sunrise to sunset. Should you arrive before our gates are unlocked, feel free to park outside and walk in.
